Job Summary:
As the Warehouse Manager for our client, you will oversee the daily operations of their warehouse, managing inventory and ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will lead a team of warehouse staff and collaborate closely with production and customer service teams to optimize workflow and maintain high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Warehouse Operations: Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring effective training and development.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, perform regular stock audits, and implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
- Fulfillment Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate order processing, packaging, and shipping.
- Quality Control: Monitor quality assurance procedures to ensure that all products meet company standards before shipment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to coordinate order fulfillment based on production schedules and customer demands.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on warehouse performance metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a print shop or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
