Position Overview
Experienced Engineering Manager to lead and strengthen Microvellum and CAD department. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on engineering projects, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement throughout the engineering process.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Microvellum and AutoCAD with strong leadership skills to build structure, efficiency, and consistency within our engineering operations. Experience with Innergy is a plus and will help ensure seamless coordination between engineering, project management, and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer millwork projects in Microvellum from architectural drawings to CNC-ready production packages.

• Develop and maintain companywide standards for drawings, materials, and construction methods.

• Oversee accuracy and completeness of all CAD and engineering deliverables.

• Collaborate with project management, purchasing, and production to ensure smooth workflow and constructability.

• Integrate CAD and engineering data within Innergy for efficient job tracking and reporting.

• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing CAD team.

• Conduct post-job reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and minimize rework.

• Refine and manage Microvellum databases, templates, and libraries to maximize efficiency.

• Serve as a technical authority for troubleshooting and continuous process enhancement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in casework engineering.

• Expert-level proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD.

• Experience with Innergy management systems strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of CNC programming

• Proven success developing or improving engineering systems and standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Degree or technical training in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
