A custom metal fabrication shop specializing in precision-built metal products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations. The company focuses on quality, reliability, and safety while producing complex fabricated components for a variety of industrial applications.

Pay
$20.00 per hour

Role Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in a custom metal fabrication environment. The position requires hands-on experience with CNC machinery and PLC systems, along with the ability to perform both preventative and corrective maintenance. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some overtime and weekend work required. Candidates will also be required to participate in a follow-up interview with the shop’s hiring manager prior to hire.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a light industrial or manufacturing environment

• Experience programming and repairing Allen Bradley PLCs

• Ability to perform preventative and routine maintenance on CNC machines, including punch presses, press brakes, mills, and laser cutters

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

• Must be detail-oriented and safety-focused

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Willingness to sit for a follow-up interview with the hiring manager
