Position Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance programs to ensure products, processes, and services meet company standards and customer expectations. This role will lead quality initiatives, oversee compliance efforts, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
Monitor production and operational processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with production, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to improve product quality and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, industry, and customer requirements.
Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees.
Manage documentation related to quality standards, procedures, and audit findings.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving operational performance.
Supervise and mentor quality team members as applicable.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred
ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar certification.
Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
Supervisory or management experience.
