Role Description
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, membership management, grant writing, and interacting with members. They serve as the primary receptionist, manage office operations, purchase supplies, and handle mail distribution. Additionally, they assist with accounting tasks, prepare invoices, manage accounts receivable, and maintain an accurate membership database. The Office Manager also supports certification programs, assists with Annual Meeting coordination, and helps with grant writing and management as needed.Â
Qualifications
Highly organized
Self-starting
Experienced professional in office operations, office management, or association management
Ability to work productively and cheerfully with staff and members
Proficiency in desktop computer operations, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Suite software
Experience in small business, corporate, or association environment is a plus
Strong work ethic
Ability to make decisions and plan work activities
Willingness to learn from the executive director and coworkers
Strong written and oral communication skills
