Job Summary
The Price Book Coordinator is responsible for the daily maintenance, accuracy, and integrity of the company’s price book. This role manages product data, vendor pricing, and promotional updates within the price book system to ensure accurate pricing across all locations. The Price Book Coordinator works closely with operations teams and vendors to support consistent pricing, margin accuracy, and smooth store operations.
Salary: $45,000 plus benefits
Key Responsibilities
Monitor vendor price changes, deals, and allowances to ensure accurate cost updates in the price book system
Collaborate with operations teams and vendors on promotional pricing and plans
Ensure accurate pricing across all store locations
Troubleshoot and resolve pricing discrepancies, missing items, and scanning issues reported by stores
Audit item margins to ensure pricing accuracy and data integrity
Monitor daily cost exceptions and investigate vendor cost discrepancies
Set up and maintain all product data in the PDI price book, including item descriptions, UPCs, costs, retail prices, departments, and vendor information
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in price book management, inventory, or operations; convenience store or grocery experience preferred
Experience with retail pricing or data management using a retail back-office system; PDI platform experience is a plus
Strong Excel skills with comfort handling data imports and exports
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong professional communication skills
