Role Description
The Machine Technician 1 is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to meet production and quality standards. This role requires adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental policies while supporting continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities include conducting equipment inspections, assisting with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient machine operations. The technician must also maintain housekeeping standards and contribute to team objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical data, including drawings and operational manuals
• Proficiency in using common inspection and test equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Understanding of machine tolerances and ability to make necessary offsets
• Experience with troubleshooting automated equipment, tooling, controls, and sensors preferred
