Human Resources Administrator

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Administrator to join their growing team. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience with payroll, employee benefits, HR compliance, and onboarding.

The Human Resources Administrator will work closely with the Human Resources Manager to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR department while providing exceptional support to employees and management.

 

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.

  • Enter and maintain payroll-related information, including tax forms, benefit changes, and garnishments.

  • Maintain employee timekeeping records and PTO balances.

  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.

  • Monitor and maintain HRIS data integrity.

  • Must be proficient in Kronos/UKG.

 

Benefits Administration

  • Maintain employee benefit records and payroll deductions.

  • Assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment changes.

  • Verify monthly insurance premium statements and coordinate with insurance carriers and brokers.

  • Assist with workers' compensation administration.

 

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Post job openings and assist with recruiting activities.

  • Verify employment eligibility documentation.

  • Support onboarding through the HRIS system.

  • Prepare new hire welcome materials, uniforms, and orientation packets.

  • Process employee uniform orders as needed.

 

HR Compliance & Records

  • Help ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR documentation.

  • Track required training, certifications, and compliance records.

  • Assist with unemployment claims and government reporting.

 

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and daily operations.

  • Assist with company cell phone and email account assignments.

  • Support the HR Manager with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources administration experience.

  • Experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits.

  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.

  • Experience using an HRIS system; Kronos (UKG) experience is highly preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
