Human Resources Administrator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Administrator to join their growing team. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience with payroll, employee benefits, HR compliance, and onboarding.
The Human Resources Administrator will work closely with the Human Resources Manager to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR department while providing exceptional support to employees and management.
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
Enter and maintain payroll-related information, including tax forms, benefit changes, and garnishments.
Maintain employee timekeeping records and PTO balances.
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Monitor and maintain HRIS data integrity.
Must be proficient in Kronos/UKG.
Benefits Administration
Maintain employee benefit records and payroll deductions.
Assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment changes.
Verify monthly insurance premium statements and coordinate with insurance carriers and brokers.
Assist with workers' compensation administration.
Recruiting & Onboarding
Post job openings and assist with recruiting activities.
Verify employment eligibility documentation.
Support onboarding through the HRIS system.
Prepare new hire welcome materials, uniforms, and orientation packets.
Process employee uniform orders as needed.
HR Compliance & Records
Help ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR documentation.
Track required training, certifications, and compliance records.
Assist with unemployment claims and government reporting.
Administrative Support
Provide administrative support for HR projects and daily operations.
Assist with company cell phone and email account assignments.
Support the HR Manager with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources administration experience.
Experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits.
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
Experience using an HRIS system; Kronos (UKG) experience is highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
