Job Description

Large plant who specializes in quality products has an overnight opening for an HR GENERALIST. This position will provide professional, cordial and informative assistance to employees while demonstrating a positive commitment to the company.

HOURS: Sunday - Thursday, 8:30 pm to 5:30 am

PAY RATE: $12 - $14 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain employee files

  • Make follow up phone calls

  • Assist in timekeeping

  • Create employee badges and activate them

  • Create employee folders for new hires

  • Coordinate and maintain confidential personnel records.

  • Maintain accident reports, and workers compensation paperwork, and OSHA Logs

  • Perform general administrative work in support of the HR department

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices; familiarity with positions.

  • Intermediate computer skills; ability to use Word, Excel

  • Knowledge of Kronos preferred

  • Detail oriented

  • Commitment to nightly attendance

*Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a drug screen
