8:00  a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday


Role Description

The Executive Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the agency by providing executive support to the Executive Director and Director of Social Services. This includes relieving the Executive Director of routine administrative tasks, maintaining confidentiality of all programs and personnel information, and promoting the mission, vision, and values of the company. The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the Executive Director's appointment calendar, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing and editing correspondence and documents. They also assist in coordinating meetings, preparing meeting materials, and recording minutes. Additionally, the Executive Assistant assists in program audits, updates job descriptions, and provides technical assistance for grant applications and proposals. Other duties may be assigned as needed. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, management, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of executive-level administrative support experience, preferably in a non-profit organization or government agency

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Experience in office management

  • Strong management, organizational, interpersonal, and public relations skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong computer and research skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel and program information

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and effectively communicate with program staff
