Role Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the safety of all commercial construction projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include implementing safety plans, conducting job site safety audits, and managing safety training programs to ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accident prevention programs and procedures to ensure continuous safe working conditions. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction safety management

• In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations and standards, safety policies, procedures, and practices in general construction settings

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously

• Proactive attitude towards safety, ability to think critically, and develop and mentor a team of safety personnel when necessary

• Certifications in OSHA 30-hour is required

• OSHA 500 Authorized Instructor Certification is required
