Role Description

This role involves identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, as well as leading business planning, generating leads, negotiating contracts, and managing accounts. The ideal candidate will conduct high-level industry research to develop effective business development strategies, identify market opportunities through meetings and networking, create development plans and forecasting projections, and plan and oversee new marketing initiatives. 

Qualifications

• New business development, lead generation, and business planning skills

• Contract negotiation and account management skills

• Experience in the construction or utility industry

• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders

• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA is a plus.

• 8+ years of experience in business development or a related field
