Job Description

Well established customer seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst (BA) to join their team. This role will work closely with the Project Manager and key stakeholders across the organization to define and document project requirements, establish deadlines, track key milestones, and proactively address issues that may impact progress. The BA will play a crucial role in identifying areas for improvement, strengthening processes, and driving efficiencies.

As Business Analyst, you will take the lead in gathering, interpreting, documenting, and communicating business insights to support informed decision-making. You will collaborate with teams across all levels of the organization to implement process improvements and drive projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, project management concepts, and data-driven decision-making.

Salary: $63,000 - $70,000 + excellent benefit package

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document business requirements for assigned projects and enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Analyze various types of data and processes to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement. Present findings and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.

  • Assist in identifying operational deficiencies and propose system enhancements to improve business solutions.

  • Evaluate business operations within specific projects, anticipate requirements, and implement solutions that drive performance improvements.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with leadership and project teams, identifying risks, dependencies, and critical decisions impacting the project or organization.

  • Collaborate with project sponsors, owners, and teams to define project scope, vision, and deliverables.

  • Lead and participate in meetings and presentations to communicate ideas, findings, and proposed solutions effectively.

  • Utilize data visualization tools, reports, and presentations to document and convey key insights.

  • Recommend workflow, system modifications, tool enhancements, and design improvements.

  • Assist in researching and identifying products or solutions that align with business needs and project requirements.

  • Work closely with the Information Technology (IT) Department to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and met with appropriate solutions.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Services, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience OR

    • Master’s degree with at least one (1) year of experience in Behavioral Health, Social Services, Business, or Information Technology.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Understanding of project management concepts and technical knowledge relevant to business process improvement.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
