Job Description

The Building Maintenance position, involves ensuring that the facility is in excellent condition and all systems are functioning properly. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing and carpentry repairs. The role requires conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become significant problems. Additionally, the Building Maintenance staff will be responsible for responding to maintenance requests from staff and guests promptly and efficiently, maintaining maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field
• Knowledge of plumbing and carpentry systems
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
