We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple locations.
This position works closely with General Managers, Operations Managers, internal accounting teams, and vendors to research discrepancies, validate transactions, and ensure timely resolution. While you’ll gain exposure to broader accounting processes, your primary focus will be cash reconciliation, transaction accuracy, and supporting general accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and locations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank activity and general ledger transactions
Partner with retail locations to validate deposits, funding activity, and cash transactions
Track and resolve outstanding reconciliation items with proper documentation
Maintain organized audit trails for all reconciliation activities
Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve transaction issues
Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and workflows

Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or reconciliation experience preferred
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger activity
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, structured spreadsheets)
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations teams and vendors

Bank reconciliations in a multi-location environment
Exposure to cash, deposits, and basic AP/AR processes
Experience in retail, automotive, or manufactured housing industries
Familiarity with ERP systems or cloud-based accounting software
