Role Description
This on-site position will involve a variety of administrative duties, including managing phone calls and emails, scheduling meetings, and providing support to the pastoral staff. Additionally, responsibilities will include maintaining databases, completing online reports, updating the Senior Minister's calendar, scheduling and notifying board and committee members, evaluating financial budgets, tracking expenses, and relaying church-wide communication to members. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational and communication skills to contribute to the smooth operation of a dynamic church community.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
At least 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Must be a self-starter who can work well both independently and in a team environment.
