Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join a small office team in Ridgeland. This dual-role position is responsible for managing daily office operations while handling bookkeeping and financial tasks to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Salary: $45,000 – $50,000
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and vendor communications.
Oversee bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
Prepare financial reports and assist with budget monitoring and forecasting.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
Support payroll processing and related HR administrative tasks as needed.
Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor contracts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff and external partners, ensuring excellent communication and follow-through.
Identify process improvements to increase office efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in office management, bookkeeping, or accounting roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks preferred).
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a small office environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
