Data Entry:
Â
Accurately record daily financial transactions into accounting software, including sales receipts, vendor invoices, and customer payments.
Categorize transactions according to the company’s chart of accounts.
Verify and match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Generate and distribute customer invoices.
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on past-due payments.
Apply customer payments and update accounts receivable ledgers.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Review vendor invoices for accuracy and approvals.
Process vendor payments and prepare check runs.
Maintain organized vendor records.
Bank Reconciliations:
Regularly reconcile bank statements to accounting records.
Identify and resolve discrepancies, reporting irregularities to senior accountants.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Post journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Maintain supporting documentation for transactions.
Reporting:
Assist in generating monthly financial reports, including sales summaries and balance sheet details.
Provide additional reports as requested by management.
Filing and Organization:
Maintain a well-organized system for financial documents.
Ensure proper filing and retrieval of invoices, receipts, and other records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
Experience: 1-2 years in an accounting or bookkeeping role (preferred).

Skills:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., double-entry bookkeeping).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in data entry with speed and precision.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
