8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Role Description
As an Administrative Assistant your primary responsibility will be to handle a wide range of administrative tasks. This will include answering and directing phone calls, organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments, maintaining electronic and physical records, and preparing and editing documents. You will also be responsible for providing assistance to staff and visitors as needed, including greeting visitors and handling general correspondence for the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Additionally, you will assist with invoicing and bank deposits to ensure smooth financial operations. Overall, your role will be crucial in supporting the efficient functioning of the agency and maintaining a professional and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Google Suite (including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
Experience in office management, including maintaining office supplies and managing office equipment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines
Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and record keeping systems
Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings and events
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
Familiarity with state and local government processes and regulations is a plus
Occasional out of town and overnight travel required with expenses paid by company
