Direct Hire!! Currently seeking a Licensed Insurance Salesperson for a well established insurance company in the Jackson area. This is a base salary + commission position that would be a great opportunity for anyone looking to further their career in the insurance agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.

  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.

  • Process customer policy change requests.

  • Develop new Financial Services opportunities.

  • Maintains client relationships with follow up phone calls.

  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.

  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.

Requirements:

  • Be a team player.

  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

  • A property & casualty license and life license is preferred but will train the good individual.

  • Great customer service and sales skills.
