Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Label Printer Operator Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining label printing and rewinding equipment, ensuring that high-quality labels are produced efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor label printing and rewinding machines to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
• Quality Control: Inspect printed labels for accuracy, color consistency, and defects. Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Rewinding: Rewind printed labels onto cores, ensuring proper tension and alignment to prevent damage during storage and shipment.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing and rewinding equipment. Report any technical issues to the supervisor.
• Workflow Management: Work closely with production and shipping teams to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of labels to customers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, and any quality issues encountered.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a label printer operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for logging production data and using equipment software.
