Starting Salary: $43,509 - $47,560

What your future day will look like:

• Advanced level law enforcement position responsible for patrolling and enforcing relevant laws within jurisdiction.

• Coordinate re-entry services and treatment programs with program coordinators.

• Maintain records and assess risk level of probationers.

• Prepare monthly reports, violation warrants, reports probation violations and recommend rehabilitation and treatment options to the courts.

• Assist in the interview process of suspects and witnesses and assist other law enforcement agencies and/or municipalities when necessary.

Work is performed under direct supervision of law enforcement staff/personnel of higher classifications. May lead a team of officers in the absence of a lead officer.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 2-4 years of law enforcement experience.

• Possession of State of Mississippi Law Enforcement Professional Certification

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.

• NO felony or domestic violence convictions. Some misdemeanors are disqualifying.
