ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT needed for the budget and finance division of a local government branch. This candidate will assist the director of the division with a variety of accounting duties. Requirements include: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, great communication skills, calculator proficiency. This position will be responsible for maintaining files, drafting communication, preparing spreadsheets, keeping spreadsheets updated and other duties assigned by supervisor.
PAY RATE: $14/hour, depending on experience
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
2+ years of experience in office position
Must be professional in appearance
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
